As part of an exciting initiative, the University of Exeter growing its research activities in Water Systems Engineering. Current areas of interest include:
- - The circular economy
- - Environmental water quality management
- - Global challenges and solutions
- - Hydroinformatics
- - Intelligent management of water systems
- - Process engineering
- - Urban water infrastructure and the water-energy-food nexus
You will be an expert in one or more of these areas and will be based within the Centre for Water Systems, Department of Engineering. We are looking for a leading international figure with a strong and current record of research funding, international quality publications, the ability to grow an interdisciplinary team and to proactively interact with researchers across the University, particularly within the interdisciplinary Global Systems Institute.
We encourage proactive engagement with industry, business and community partners to enhance the impact of research and education and improve the employability of our students. We therefore particularly welcome applications from academic staff with strong connections and funded projects with industrial partners as well as those who are involved in projects which develop impact.
