Wonderful second chance, small town romance. Rachel’s world has imploded which has her returning to her hometown and her grandfather’s cabin that she inherited. She never expected to lose her job and a fiancé within a few weeks of each other. Going back to her roots is bitter sweet since she also lost her only family, her grandfather. This is a good opportunity to reevaluate her life and figure out what she should do next.

The Forever Formula is a small town, second chance sweet, heartfelt romance. I had a little trouble with the timeline. If I followed it corrected Rachel is ten years out of high school, but her and the Hart brothers behaved more like those just out of college and they often were immature in how they handled situations and miscommunications. Despite that I really enjoyed reading as Rachel and Noah reconnect and fall in love. This is 3.5 stars for me.
