Welcome to the very first Teen Edition of the Margaret Mead Film Festival at the American Museum of Natural History! Step inside to explore the complexity and diversity of people and their cultures. Inspired by the legacy of anthropologist Margaret Mead, this year’s festival reflects stories of resilience, accounts of immense struggle, and the human ability to persist and thrive.
The Mead aims to connect viewers to cultures and communities around the world while creating empathy and understanding through visual media. View, discuss, and engage in a teen-version of the festival where the arts meet science and culture.
