Coming Together After Hurricane Irma
The devastating effects of Hurricane Irma are only beginning to become evident. Loss of life, property and a sense of community have shaken many of us. To that end, we say, NSU CARES . We want to thank everyone in the community, and beyond, who have reached out to help in their own meaningful ways. And, we want to offer our help to those who are in need.

Many of NSU's students and faculty/staff members needed to evacuate, while others stayed. And an untold number of our community are still in need of water, food, transportation, and other basic services and supplies.

To that end, we have established the NSU CARES fund to help those students and employees who are most in need of assistance. Please consider making a donation to help these individuals return to a sense of normalcy, in what are quite abnormal times.
You can also contribute by texting 'NSUCARES' to 41444.
Thank you for your support and contributions, and stay Shark Strong.

Sincerely,
