Bachelor Program in Economics and Financial Markets

The curriculum Economics and Financial Markets aims to develop the abilities needed to evaluate, design and use financial products and to analyze national and international financial markets. The first two years provide basic training in Economics, Management, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics and Law, while the third year focuses on Monetary and Financial Economics and Policy, International Macroeconomics, Financial Markets and Institutions, Corporate Finance, Statistics for Finance and Financial Econometrics. The courses are offered within an international cultural environment, characterized by highly qualified professors and by visiting professors from prestigious foreign universities. Beside standard courses, seminars are offered on advanced topics by professors and experts from international universities and institutions. Students attending the programme are encouraged to participate in the numerous Exchange Programmes available involving European and extra- European Universities and to perform internships.

Bachelor Program in Business and Management

The curriculum in Business & Management aims to provides students with a broad spectrum of knowledge and skills related to the management of the firm and to the business environment. During the first year students will receive the basics of Accounting, Microeconomics and Business Management among other courses, and thus will set the grounding for the following years. During the second year students will complete their basic education by attending the courses of Macroeconomics, Statistics, Financial Market and Institutions. Meanwhile, they will start attending more advanced and connotative courses, such as International Marketing, Organizational Behaviour and Design, and Advanced Accountings. During the third year, students will be offered with more advanced courses, such as Management of Innovation, Corporate Finance, Intellectual Property Rights. All the courses are offered within an international cultural environment, characterized by highly qualified professors and by visiting professors from prestigious foreign universities. Beside standard courses, seminars are offered on advanced topics by professors and experts from international universities and institutions. Students attending the programme are encouraged to participate in the numerous Exchange Programmes available involving European and extra-European Universities and to perform internships.

Master in Coffee Economics and Science

The master's degree in Coffee Economics and Science is a university master's degree, organized and proposed by a renowned group of leaders in the field of education: the Ernesto Illy Foundation, the Università del Caffè of illycaffè, the University of Trieste, University of Udine, International Superior School of Advanced Studies of Trieste (Sissa), the Association of Molecular Biomedicine and the District of coffee (Trieste Coffee Cluster).
 
The course work, to be given entirely in English, is open to graduates worldwide in Economics, Engineering, Sciences, Agriculture and similar disciplines. It embraces the entire productive cycle of coffee and it is developed in three disciplinary areas: economical-administrative, biological-agronomic, and technological.
 
Its objective is to offer an in-depth multidisciplinary preparation to graduates interested in working in the world of coffee, and more generally, in the field of agro-alimentary -- in every stage of the productive cycle -- from the cultivation to the catering industry, including logistics and the industrial process.
