Full-time and part-time benefits-eligible faculty and professional staff enrolled in a Drexel medical plan, or full-time employees who waive medical coverage, will be eligible to earn up to $400 during this annual program, which runs from Jan. 1 to Nov. 30.

Drexel employees who are covered under a Drexel partner or spouse's health insurance plan will be considered "spouses" in this program and will be eligible for the $250 spouse incentive, not the $400 employee incentive. Drexel employees who are married to another Drexel employee must maintain separate health insurance plans provided by Drexel for both spouses to be eligible for the full $400 employee wellness benefit.

Spouses and domestic partners who receive medical insurance through Drexel, or spouses and domestic partners of employees who waive medical coverage, are also invited to participate in the Wellness Incentive Program. Eligible partners will be able to earn up to $250, paid via the employee’s paycheck from Jan. 1 to Nov. 30.

Eligible partners will need to be listed as dependents in the benefit enrollment system, even if they are not participating in any health benefits, in order participate in the Wellness Incentive Program. This will allow them to have access to their own secure portal to complete activities, and, like employees, will also have to complete a Personal Health Profile before any incentive payouts are processed.

The incentive program starts Jan. 1 and ends Nov. 30, annually.

For every point you earn, you will receive $1 in your paycheck, up to $400 total. Please note that you will not receive any payouts in your paycheck until the month after you complete the Personal Health Profile (PHP). The PHP is a required step for payout of any points earned. If you do not complete your PHP, you will not be paid.

For every point they earn, spouses and domestic partners will receive $1 in the employee's paycheck, up to $250 total. Any earnings made by spouses and domestic partners will appear as a separate line item from the employee's wellness pay, in order to avoid confusion. Please note that you will not receive any payouts in your paycheck for your spouse or domestic partner until the month after they complete their PHP. The PHP is a required step for payout of any points earned. If your spouse or domestic partner does not complete their PHP, they will not be paid.

The first disbursement of funds will occur in the February pay period. Non-exempt employees will be credited once per month in the last paycheck for that calendar month. In general, money earned during one month will appear in the next month's paycheck. There may be a 6-week delay in the payment of points for onsite Drexel wellness activities. After an employee is terminated from Drexel University, we are unable to process payment for earned wellness points.

The year-to-date column will show you how many points you have been paid over the course of the year. Please check your paystub before contacting the HR Service Center at hr@drexel.edu to inquire about missing points.

Eligible employees and spouses can complete their biometric screening in one of three ways.

• Schedule an appointment for the onsite biometric health screening, which Drexel hosts annually on campus during the winter term.
• Schedule a visit directly with LabCorp. LabCorp visits must be scheduled directly through the Health Advocate Wellness Incentive Program website.
• Visit their doctor and ask their physician to fax the completed physician’s form to Health Advocate. This form can be located in the Wellness Incentive Program site by following the instructions below.

This biometric health screening will measure your BMI, Waist Circumference, Glucose Levels, and Cholesterol. When you undertake the biometric health screening, you will be asked if you are fasting or not fasting to ensure the best accuracy of your results. You are not required to fast for the biometric health screening, though it is recommended, when possible.

To schedule your biometric health screening, first visit healthadvocate.com/drexel.

After logging in, you can access the Wellness Incentive Program directly either by clicking on the “Points” box in the upper right or by clicking Well-Being and navigating from the Well-Being menu. From “Well-Being” you can then select “Rewards” at the bottom of the page to visit the Wellness Incentive Program. Then, click on “Biometric Health Screening” under the “Healthy Actions” section in the Wellness Incentive Program. Next, select the option that you prefer and follow the instructions to continue.

If you visit LabCorp, you must print the voucher generated by the site and bring it with you to avoid incurring a fee for this visit. If you select to visit your doctor directly, please call Health Advocate 15 days after your appointment to ensure that your physician has faxed back the completed form.

You can earn points by tracking your steps, hydration, sleep, minutes exercised, and much more. Navigate to the Wellness Incentive Program (by clicking on your points in the upper right-hand corner of the screen after logging in, then select “Go to Trackers” under “Track Healthy Behavior.”

Or, you can sync a fitness device to track your healthy habits. To sync a fitness device, first click your name in the upper right-hand corner, then click “Account Settings” and then select “Fitness Devices and Apps.” You will need to follow the instructions and sign-in to your device to allow for a sync to occur. Please review Health Advocate's PDF resource for instructions on how to sync your Fitness Device.

After logging in, you can access the Wellness Incentive Program directly either by clicking on the “Points” box in the upper right or by clicking Well-Being and navigating from the Well-Being menu. From “Well-Being” you can then select “Rewards” at the bottom of the page to visit the Wellness Incentive Program. Navigate to the "Healthy Actions" portion of the site and scroll down to access Preventive Care, Dental Exams, or Flu Shots section.

You can earn up to 200 points total (50 points each) for receiving the following preventive care exams: annual physical, breast cancer screening, cervical cancer screening, colon cancer screening, osteoporosis screening, prostate cancer screening, skin cancer screening, or even your annual vision exam. You can also receive 100 points total (50 points per visit) for visiting the dentist for your annual exam and cleaning. Plus, earn 50 points for receiving a flu vaccine (flu shot).

To claim your points, navigate to the appropriate section and upload the date of your visit and proof of the visit. Proof could include: an appointment confirmation, a co-pay receipt, a screenshot showing the visit in your provider’s website, or an explanation of benefits from your insurance company.

Please note that dental exams must be reported by you as Cigna does not directly send Health Advocate evidence of your visit. If you are covered by Drexel benefits, IBC will send proof of your preventive care and flu shot to Drexel, but there could be a delay of up to six months, causing you to miss out on valuable wellness points. Uploading proof of your visit is the fastest way to earn points for preventive care activities.
