The Department of Special Education offers an undergraduate program leading to the Academic and Behavioral Strategist license. The graduate programs lead to special education licensure in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Developmental Disabilities (DD); Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Emotional Behavior Disorders (EBD); or Learning Disabilities (LD) or a Master of Science (MS) degree in Special Education.

Our undergraduate Academic and Behavioral Strategist program gives new teachers a broad base of skills necessary to work with a variety of student needs immediately.
Special Education MS
This online MS program is for an individual seeking additional knowledge in developmental cognitive disabilities, emotional/behavioral disabilities, or learning disabilities. Someone enrolled in this program can be seeking a MS only or seeking an MS and a teaching license.
Special Education Academic and Behavioral Strategist GC
This program will prepare teacher candidates to work as special education teachers for students with mild moderate disabilities and will prepare them for licensure as an Academic and Behavioral Strategist.
