Radar Restaurant

Radar Restaurant owners Lily and Jonathan Tollefsen learned the value of energy- efficient kitchen equipment when considering the design of their 1,200-square-foot space in North Portland’s Mississippi neighborhood. Energy Trust trade ally CaptiveAire explained that a demand control ventilation system would save money on their energy bills and qualify for Energy Trust incentives. Lily and Jonathan not only installed the recommended system, they opted to enroll in Energy Trust’s market solution for restaurants and make energy efficiency a priority throughout their project.

Cash incentives earned: $4,740

New Heights Physical Therapy

After outgrowing its old facility in Southeast Portland, New Heights Physical Therapy set its sights on a new location perfectly suited for an energy-efficient renovation. New Heights turned to Energy Trust of Oregon for assistance in bringing cost-effective, energy-saving solutions into the project. Through Energy Trust’s market solutions package, they received $20,630 in cash incentives for a variety of features projected to save an estimated 39,100 kWh each year.
