Villanova beat Seton Hall 55-53 in the Big East tournament semifinals on Friday, and Josh Hart was the hero of the game. He scored the game-winner because Seton Hall’s Angel Delgado missed a close-range shot in the final second that would’ve tied it.
But after the buzzer sounded, instead of running to his teammates and letting the Seton Hall players take their time to sulk, Hart went over to them and gave out hugs. Hart even went up to Delgado and said a few words to him while tapping him on the chest.
That’s an amazing display of respect and sportsmanship from the 22-year-old senior. Here’s the game-winner he made a little earlier:
