Syllabi

The Consortium’s Syllabus Collection provides access to a wide range of courses taught about topics related to gender, armed conflict and peacebuilding, as well as feminist perspectives on global politics and political economy. To represent multiple global perspectives, we have endeavored to collect syllabi from as many countries as possible, although there is significant regional variation in whether or how syllabi are constructed and available. Please help strengthen this collection by submitting your own syllabi here:

Search Tips

All searches can be narrowed or refined by using the filters for Content Type, Topic, Countries, Regions, Language, and Publication Year, found in the left side bar.

For a more tailored and detailed search, the Advanced Search function allows you to use multiple search terms (Click on “Add a row”), and to specify the relation between the terms, using the “and,” “or,” & “not” options. If you want to limit the number of results, can you also restrict the search to looking only in the Title, Abstract or Author fields.

Not getting the results you want? Try putting quotation marks around a search term (e.g., “gender budgeting”) or around a part of a publication title, so that your exact phrase is searched for. Alternatively, for broader results, try breaking up search terms into individual words (e.g., instead of searching “gender budgeting” use the Advanced Search to search for “gender” AND “budget”).

By default, search results are listed by relevance. Alternatively, the drop-down menu at the top of the list can be used to organize the sources by year, author, title or date posted.

You can use your searches to generate a personalized bibliography of selected sources. Under each resource of interest, simply check the box that says “Select.” When you are done making your selections, return to the Research Hub search box near the top of the page, and click “Selection List”; you’ll then be given the option to view your list of citations, email it, export, and/or print it.
