—MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY/HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 11) — 

1) MOUNTAIN VIEW  

Single lane closure on Volcano Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile post 13.6 to 14.4, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for application of new striping on the speed humps at Mountain View Elementary, Gas Station and Post Office. 

   

2) PAHALA 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction, between mile post 42 to 44, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting.  

 

3) PAHALA (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction, between mile post 44 to 46, on Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting. 

  

4) CAPTAIN COOK (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile post 90 to 91, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting.  

 

5) CAPTAIN COOK 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile post 90 to 91, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting and shoulder restoration. 

 

6) CAPTAIN COOK 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile post 97.2 to 104.7, in the vicinity of Haleili Street and Filipino Clubhouse Road, beginning Wednesday, April 24 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for crews to work on safety improvements of the roadway. 

 

7) KAILUA KONA 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile post 114 to 115, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting. 

 

  

— HAWAII BELT ROAD / KAWAIHAE ROAD/ QUEEN KAAHUMANU HIGHWAY (ROUTE 19) —  

1) PAPAIKOU 

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction, between mile post 7.08 to 7.12, in the vicinity of Old Mamalahoa Highway, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the installation of roadway striping on the speed hump at Haaheo Elementary School.  

  

2) PAPAIKOU TO PEPEEKEO  

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction, between mile post 7 to 10, in the vicinity of Kulaimano Road, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting. 

 

3) PAPAIKOU TO PEPEEKEO (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction, between mile post 8 to 10, in the vicinity of Hanawi Street and Kulaimano Road, on Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting. 

 

4) HAKALAU (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction, between mile post 15 to 18, in the vicinity of Chin Chuck Road and Old Mamalahoa Highway, on Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting and shoulder work. 

 

5) PAPAALOA TO OOKALA 

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction, between mile post 23 to 27.6, in the vicinity of Stevens Road, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for applying new roadway striping and reflective markers. 

  

6) KAMUELA 

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction, between mile post 51 to 54, in the vicinity of Iokua Place, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for application of new roadway striping and reflective markers. 

   

— STAINBACK HIGHWAY — 

1) HILO TO MOUNTAIN VIEW 

Full closure on Stainback Highway in both directions, in the vicinity of Panaewa Rainforest Zoo and North Kulani Road, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for resurfacing of the roadway. 

   

— KEAAU-PAHOA ROAD / PAHOA-BYPASS ROAD (ROUTE 130) — 

1) KEAAU 

Single lane closure on Keaau-Pahoa Road (Route 130) possible in either direction, between mile post 2 to 4, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting. 

  

2) PAHOA (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure on Keaau-Pahoa Road/ Pahoa-Bypass Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile post 9 to 11, on Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting.  

 

3) PAHOA 

Single lane closure on Pahoa-Bypass Road (Route 130) possible in either direction, between mile post 11.3 to 11.5, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for application of new striping on the speed hump at the intersection of Keaau-Pahoa Road and Post Office Road.  

  

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) — 

1) WAIMEA 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction, between mile post 0.18 to 0.23, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for crews to install new roadway striping on the speed hump at Ulu Laau Lane.  

 

2) WAIKOLOA 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction, between mile post 9.88 to 9.89, in the vicinity of Auwaiakeakua Bridge, on Thursday, April 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for routine bridge inspections at Auwaiakeakua Bridge. 

 

3) KAILUA KONA 

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction, between mile post 32 to 33, in the vicinity of Makalei Drive and Kalaoa Street, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting.  

 

— KOHALA MOUNTAIN ROAD (ROUTE 250) — 

1) KAMUELA 

Single lane closure on Kohala Mountain Road (Route 250) possible in either direction between mile post 6.17 to 10.6, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for crews to clean and dress the roadway shoulders and removal of Best Management Practices (BMP’s). 

 

2) KAMUELA  

Single lane closure on Kohala Mountain Road (Route 250) possible in either direction, between mile post 9 to 11, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for vegetation cutting. 

  

3) KAMUELA (WEEKEND WORK) 

Single lane closure on Kohala Mountain Road (Route 250) possible in either direction, between mile post 9 to 13, on Saturday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for shoulder work and tree trimming. 

 

— AKONI PULE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 270) — 

1) KAWAIHAE 

Single lane closure on Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) possible in either direction between mile post 1.74 to 1.75, in the vicinity of Honokoa Bridge, on Wednesday, April 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for routine bridge inspections at Honokoa Bridge. 

  

— PUAINAKO STREET (ROUTE 2000) — 

1) HILO 

Single lane closure on Puainako Street (Route 2000) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Kanoelehua Ave and Komohana Street, beginning Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for preparation work as part of the Puainako Street Widening Project.
