An Important Message to Everyone Submitting a Proposal for the ASA’s 2018 Annual Meeting
The ASA requires that everyone who submits a proposal must pre-register by the close of the cfp: March 15, 5pm EST. You must contact the ASA by e-mail (members@africanstudies.orgbefore the cfp closes to request technical assistance with logging in to your ASA account and/or submitting your pre-registration payment, to ensure that your proposal will be included in the review. If you submit your proposal but you do not submit your pre-registration payment by the close of the cfp, and if you have not contacted the ASA for assistance by the close of the cfp, then your proposal will not be reviewed. All requests for assistance will be answered through email.
