2023 - Gray appeared in 46 games for the Lions getting the start in 35 mostly at first base ... Finished the season with a .263 average with 26 hits, 15 runs scored, six doubles, one triple, six home runs, 23 RBIs, stole one base, drew six walks for a .525 slugging percentage and .330 on-base percentage for a .855 OPS ... Defensively finished with 209 putouts, four assists and helped turn 10 double plays ... Among program freshman ranks was tied for second in home runs, sixth in putouts, tied for seventh in extra base hits and ninth in RBIs.

Prior to Southern - Gray was a three-year letter winner for coach Jackie Sells at Lansing high school as an infielder for the Lions... As a freshman Gray was an All-Conference selection and was named second-team All-Conference as a junior... Was also involved with the power lifting team at Lansing and finished second in the state as a freshman before winning state as a junior.

Personal - Katie is the daughter of Debbie and Nick Gray and plans to major in physical therapy during her time at Southern.
