Missouri Southern State University Athletics

Cori Reid is in her second stint with the Missouri Southern Athletic Department and serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations and Senior Woman Administrator. She served as the Interim Athletic Director from March 17, 2021 through June 30, 2021. 

Reid previously served in the same position from 2012-2014 at Southern before serving as the Athletic Director for Neosho (Mo.) High School. 

Originally from Frontenac, Kan., Reid graduated from the University of Kansas in 2005 with a bachelors degree in sports and fitness management. She went on to receive her masters in 2007 in sports administration from Kansas. 

While at Kansas, Reid was a Program Coordinator for Student-Athlete Support Services for five years and then went on to become a Group Sales Manager for the Kansas City Chiefs. She also served as a Senior Admissions Coordinator at Heritage College in Wichita, Kan. 

Reid's father, Skip Hale, played football for Missouri Southern and is a member of the Southern Athletics Hall of Fame. Cori and her husband, Nick, a former KU football player, have four children, Duke, Lillian, Vivian, and Theo. The family resides in Joplin.
