Registered four tackles against #14 Nebraska - Kearney (Sep. 1), Fort Hays State (Sep. 24), #10 Pittsburg State (Oct. 1), Central Missouri (Oct. 15), Emporia State (Oct. 22) and Missouri Western (Oct. 29).

Prior to Southern - Bergmann prepped at Logan-Rogersville high school where he played on the football and basketball teams for the Wildcats ... On the gridiron for coach Mark Talbert, Bergmann was a first-team All-Conference, All-District and All-Area and a second-team All-State selection as a safety to go with being a first-team All-Conference and second-team All-District selection as a running back his junior season ... As a senior was named All-Conference and All-District after playing in eight games and having 121 tackles and 15 touchdowns while helping the Wildcats to their first conference championship since 2008.

Personal - Zach is the son of Kimberly and Jon Bergmann and is undecided on his major at Southern.
