2023 - Miller completed one of the best hitting seasons and careers in Lions history while appearing and starting in 61 games for the Lions mostly at first base while also seeing time in the outfield and as a designated hitter ... Finished the season with a .333 average, 234 at-bats, 67 runs scored, 78 hits, 13 doubles, three triples, 25 home runs, 80 RBIs, 33 walks, eight HBPs, four sacrifice flys, one sacrifice hit, four stolen bases in four attempts, 417 putouts, 15 assists and helped turn 34 double plays ... Miller finished with a .735 slugging and .427 on-base percentage for a 1.162 OPS.
2022 - Miller appeared in 50 games for the Lions while starting 48 games in the infield and outfield ... Finished the season with a .342 average, 187 at bats, 35 runs, 64 hits, 18 doubles, a triple, 15 home runs, 62 RBIs, slugged .690, drew 19 walks for a .405 on base percentage, stole four bases and recorded 258 putouts, 11 assists and had a .985 fielding percentage.
2021 - Miller appeared in 38 games for the Lions starting in 34 as an infielder ... Hit .203 with 25 hits and runs scored, four doubles, one triple, five home runs, drove in 18 runs, 46 total bases and drew 11 walks ... Defensively posted a .992 fielding percentage with 248 putouts and 13 assists.
2020 - Miller appeared and started in all 21 games for the Lions at first base... Hit .270 with 20 hits, 10 runs scored and eight runs driven in... Had 10 extra base hits with five doubles and three home runs... Defensively posted a .986 fielding percentage with 129 putouts and eight assists... One of 17 Lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
2019 – Miller saw action in 52 games for the Lions with 40 starts ... He hit .255 with 40 hits, 31 runs scored and 38 runs driven in … He has 19 extra base hits with six doubles, one triple and 12 homers … Defensively, he had posted a .994 fielding percentage with 325 putouts and four assists.
Prior to Southern -Â Miller comes to Southern from nearby Aurora High School ... A teammate of former Lion Zac Shoemaker, Miller was a four-year letter winner for coach James Hoffman and the Houn Dawgs ... He was also a four-year letter winner in basketball ... An All-Conference, All-District and All-State selection on the baseball field helped lead Aurora to back-to-back State Titles as a junior and a senior.Â
Personal -Â Miller is the son of David and Tammy Miller and is a health promotion and wellness major at Southern.
