2021 - McSwain appeared in 10 games for the Lions getting the start in four as a safety ... Finished the season with 30 tackles (19 solo), fumble recovery, interception and a pass breakup ... Against #24 Washburn (Nov. 13) finished with eight tackles (six solo) ... Had five tackles with an interception against #6 Northwest Missouri (Nov. 6) ... Recorded a pass break up against Central Missouri (Oct. 16) ... Recorded five tackles against Emporia State (Oct. 23) with four being solo.

Prior to Southern - McSwain comes to Southern from Butler CC where he appeared in six games in 2020 for the Grizzles and finished with 29 tackles (18 solo), two pass break ups and an interception ... Prepped at Goddard high school for the Lions and coach Tommy Beason ... Was a three time All-Conference and All-State football player  while also playing on the basketball and track teams ... Had 17 interceptions in his last two seasons on the gridiron.
