2023 - Tofpi concluded one of the all-time careers for the Lions with 53 games played and 52 starts at short stop ... Finished with a .280 average from 47 hits, 168 at-bats, 29 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple, five home runs, 34 RBIs, 18 walks drawn and two stolen bases with a .435 slugging percentage and .353 on-base percentage for a .788 OPS ... Defensively she recorded 112 assists, 72 putouts and helped turn nine double plays.
2022 - Tofpi appeared and started in 41 games for the Lions at shortstop... Finished the season with 134 at bats, 43 hits, 29 runs scored, four doubles, five triples, two home runs, 22 RBIs while slugging .470 and defensively recorded 57 putouts and 98 assists... Played in her 150th game of her career during the season along with scoring her 100th run having her 150th hit, 30th double, 10th triple, 75th RBI, 200th putout and 300th assist of her career.
2021 - Appeared and started in all 36 games for the Lions at shortstop and hit third in the lineup ... Finished the season with a team-high .386 batting average, 56 hits (4th in MIAA), 13 doubles (4th in MIAA, 48th in D-II), 36 runs scored, a .566 slugging percentage, while adding three home runs, 32 RBIs, drawing 15 walks, went 5-5 in stolen base attempts and had 65 putouts and 101 assists and helped turn nine double plays ... Hit her first career home run against Upper Iowa (Mar. 21st) in the Lions 10-9 eight inning win ... Part of the Lions team that was in Division II, second in triples (24), ninth in triples per game (0.52), 14
th in double plays turned (17), hit-by-pitches (42) and stolen bases (99). Finished 23

Ranked third in on-base percentage (0.366) and scoring average (4.91), fourth in runs scored (226) and win-loss percentage, sixth in ERA (3.27), hits (345) and WHIP (1.46).
2020 - Tofpi appeared and started in the 20 games the Lions were able to play, where she was stationed as a shortstop and a consistent force in the top of the lineup ... Tofpi finished the season with a team-high .390 batting average with 23 hits, a team-high seven were doubles, was second on the team with 18 RBI's, adding 22 runs scored (T-4th in the MIAA), a .542 Slugging Percentage, was issued out a team-high nine walks, posted a On-Base Percentage of .464 good for second on the team and had a team-high 41 assists ... Tofpi recorded two games with four RBI's with both games the Lions winning against Quincy (Feb. 16) and Northern State (Feb. 29 Game One), in the Northern State game she finished with three doubles and picked up five assists as well.Â
2019 - One of four players to compete in all 44 games for the Lions as she assumed the short stop position to lead off her first year in a Missouri Southern uniform … All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection … led the Lions in seven offensive categories as a freshman including batting average (.367), on-base percentage (.407), at-bats (139), hits (51), runs scored (31), triples (4), and a tie for walks (9) with teammates Makaila Leonhart … also closed out her first collegiate season second in total bases (68) and doubles (9), and tied for fifth in RBIs (16) … assisted the squad toward a fielding percentage of .966 for second overall in the MIAA while being tied for the least amount of errors committed at 45 after completing 110 assists and 69 putouts despite committing 16 errors for a percentage of .918 … registered a season-high three hits against Drury (2/16) and then two months later knocked in three RBIS at Lincoln (4/5) … logged a pair of scoring three runs as well at Pittsburg State (3/9) and versus Nebraska-Kearney (3/18); both turning into wins.
Prior to Southern - a four-year letter winner from Moore, Okla., who spent time at a variety of positions in the infield including second base, third base, and shortstop during her time at Westmoore High School under head coach Jenny Rollins ... finished out her career with an impressive .946 fielding percentage with 284 putouts across the infield .. at the Plate, Tofpi recorded a .346 batting average while scoring 89 runs and knocking in 57 RBIs ... her play on the field and at the plate earned her All-District first team honors as a sophomore and junior, while being named on the All-Big City and COAC All-conference honorable mention teams ...landed on the All-Region and All-State squads as well as making an appearance in the first All-America Games on the Southeast team, while being selected to participate in the All-Star game at Colorado Sparkler.
Personal -Â Josie is the daughter of Clifton and Thetath Tofpi and plans to major in Psychology at MSSU.
