PISCATAWAY, N.J.
 – Rutgers football will hold its annual Scarlet-White game, presented by PNC Bank, on Saturday, April 14 at High Point Solutions Stadium. The game is slated for a 3:30 p.m. start with gates opening at 2:30 p.m. Parking for the spring game is first come, first served and admission is free.

The Scarlet-White game will be a scripted scrimmage in four quarters of action with live tackling. The roster has been divided offense vs. defense, with the offense wearing Scarlet jerseys, while the defense will wear White jerseys.

Hosts of the Afternoon Drive on WFAN, Chris Carlin, Bart Scott and Maggie Gray will be on hand to participate in the Scarlet-White game. Scott and Gray will serve as honorary coaches for the game, while Carlin will lead the broadcast team on the Big Ten Network. Scott will coach Team White (defense) and Gray will coach Team Scarlet (offense). Former Scarlet Knight defensive lineman Eric LeGrand will join Carlin in the booth and Kristian Dyer will handle sideline duties for BTN.

The gameday festivities for the Scarlet-White scrimmage include the Kid Zone and inflatables as well as the Block R Party presented by Miller Lite for families to participate in before kickoff. There will also be special season ticket holder concession discounts and a free spring football poster giveaway.

Following the intra-squad scrimmage, the Scarlet Knights will participate in a post-game autograph session.

Entering the third season under the direction of head coach Chris Ash, Rutgers will play seven home games at High Point Solutions Stadium, opening with Texas State on Sept. 1. The Scarlet Knights will then play three-straight games beginning with Buffalo (Sept. 22), followed by back-to-back Big Ten games against Indiana (Sept. 29) and Illinois (Oct. 6). Rutgers will meet Northwestern for the first time in program history as members of the Big Ten on Oct. 20 before closing out the home schedule against Michigan (Nov. 10) and Penn State (Nov. 17).

The Scarlet Knights, who return 16 of 22 starters in 2018, are coming off a season in which the team doubled its win total from the previous year and matched a program-best conference win total.
