WTS Merry Membership Shindig & Charity Event

Join WTS HRC as we celebrate the season by enjoying pizza and fellowship while expressing our creativity for a worthy cause. During this event, we will create simple, no-sew fleece blankets for children and adults with severe disabilities. Craftiness not required!

We invite all friends of WTS HRC to enjoy this fun evening!

Pizza and soft drinks will be provided compliments of WTS. Please bring your own wine or beer, if you wish to partake. Please bring two sheets each of 4 square yards of fleece fabric of your choice. For those who would like to have the fleece material purchased for you, please select the appropriate ticket option ($15 donation). Please bring scissors (for cutting fabric) and straight pins if you have them!

The event will take place in the Innovation Research Park @ ODU First Floor Conference Center.

Please note, this event is limited to 25 people... if you register and find that you're not able to attend, please let us know at wts.hrc@gmail.com so we can open your space up to someone else.

Blankets will be donated to St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children. Children and young adults from across Virginia who have severe intellectual and physical disabilities live, play and go to school at St. Mary’s Home, a national leader in pediatric long-term care. They also help children who need short-stay care, perhaps because of a family emergency or surgery requiring intensive post-operative physical therapy.
