This year, Teatown is proud to partner with the Sing Sing Prison Museum for a special donation of plants to be sent to the Sing Sing Garden Project.
There is a long history of gardening within the walls of Sing Sing Prison. What began as a dusty dirt plot within the prison walls was transformed into a rose garden more than 100 years ago. Today, those gardens are still utilized and maintained as therapeutic gardens by the men receiving support from the Sing Sing Office of Mental Health. For just $10 per plant, you can contribute to the growth of this garden, and positively impact the mental health of the men at Sing Sing.
