TREE TALES

an interactive outdoor arts experience

Sunday, May 16, 2021: 1p - 4:30p

Saturday, May 22, 2021: 1p - 4:30p

(weather permitting)

Come "play" in Riverside Park with Prospect!  Follow a group of artist guides as they direct you through the trees of Crabapple Grove.  Along the path, choose your own adventure from an array of 15 original stories penned by a line-up of imaginative theater creators, and engage with a tale created just for you!

This is a guided "walk-through" experience with audience groups of 12 people gaining timed entry every 15 minutes.  Audience groups will begin together at a set time, but each person's walk is individually determined and may take slightly different lengths of time to complete.

in the Crabapple Grove in Riverside Park

(entrance at 91st Street & Riverside Drive)

It is recommended that audience members be at least 9 years old to participate.  Register for a "youth" ticket (9-12 years of age) or a "general" ticket (13 years and up).

IMPORTANT SAFETY DETAILS:

Registration is required, as space is strictly limited to allow for physical distancing and safety protocols.  All audience members must wear appropriate face coverings throughout the 30-40 minute event.  Audience members also are required to answer health screening questions (here's a link to the questions) and have a temperature check to gain entry.  Hand sanitizer and disposable masks will be available on site.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION:

Stories will be written on individual use paper, in the English language.  Stories may also be read aloud to participants.  Audience members will be asked to stand / walk throughout the grove, over ground which is fairly even, but has some tree roots.  If you have additional accessibility questions or concerns, we are happy to work with you to accommodate needs wherever possible.  Please email us in advance of the event day:  boxoffice@ProspectTheater.org.
