U.S. 75 To Close In Both Directions In Plano This Weekend

The closure of Central Expressway will end at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 18.

PLANO, TX β€” Drivers passing through Plano on U.S. 75 this weekend are likely to run into some traffic and delays during a construction project on the Plano Parkway bridge.

Not only will 75 (Central Expressway) be closed, but the entrance ramps to and from President George Bush Turnpike (190) will also be closed.

In addition, the northbound U.S. 75 HOV lane, between Interstate 635 and Galatyn Parkway, will be closed.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes during this project.

The closure will begin Saturday, June 16 at 2:00 a.m. If all goes as planned, the project will be complete and the highway will be reopened by Monday, June 18, at 5 a.m.
