The Plano City Council offered a compromise Monday night regarding the  lifetime membership of John Salvey and the other Los Rios Golf Course lifetime members, but it wasn't the one they hoped for.

Last month, Salvey and 26 avid golfers of Los Rios asked if the city could honor several lifetime memberships purchased for a golf course, now owned by the city of Plano.
