Children’s Health Plano Spreads Holiday Cheer to Patients and Families

Children’s Health spread some holiday cheer to its young Plano patients, their families and hospital staff on Nov. 27 with the annual tree lighting celebration. The event is provided by the hospital completely free to attend.

Santa Claus made a visit, arriving in style on a Plano Fire Department truck. He led 10 special families of current and former patients as 10 Christmas trees were lit for the 10th anniversary of Children’s Medical Center in Plano. Guests also enjoyed crafts led by volunteers from the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center and the community, holiday music, hot chocolate and pizza to celebrate.
