Amorino Gelato, an Italian-owned gelato company, recently opened in Legacy West in early December. This gelato shop is famous for its beautiful gelato flowers, carefully crafted cones topped with gelato shaped petals and gelato stuffed macaroons. Locally owned by Gavin and Heather Kim, Berry Naked specializes in treats that are actually good for you. Introduced on ABC’s hit show “Shark Tank,” Cinnaholic in Richardson offers award-winning gourmet cinnamon rolls. It serves a variety of flavors with toppings like blueberries, brownie bites, cookie dough, pie crumbles, pretzels and more. In addition to the signature cinnamon rolls, bite-sized baby buns, Cinnacakes, cookies and cookie dough are also served.

Milky Treats

This locally owned ice cream shop opened last year in Plano and was the first to serve cereal infused ice cream in Plano. Milky Treats also serves ice cream-stuffed donut sandwiches and 15 unique flavors of handcrafted ice cream. It’s safe to say these treats were created for the ‘gram.

Locally owned and founded by Kevin Drawe, Sno Tea was inspired by the dessert shops of Taiwan. Sno Tea’s Snow Ice was the original star of the show, a light combination of ice cream, frozen yogurt and shaved ice completed with delicious toppings. Now Sno Tea also offers crepes, bubble tea and waffle pops in a cool, modern setting.
