Luxury shopping center Highland Park Village nabs chief marketing officer from a competitor

Snee started out as a Dallas television reporter covering fashion and lifestyle stories.

Many shoppers can claim to know Dallas-Fort Worth's luxury shopping haunts. Victoria Snee is developing a resume to prove it.

Snee is the new chief marketing officer at Highland Park Village. This isn't her first luxury shopping gig. In fact, she knows the competition well.

She just spent the last couple of years marketing Plano's new Legacy West development with 425,000 square feet of shopping and restaurant space.

Snee, who has lived in Plano for several years, was working at NorthPark when she learned about the Legacy West project. "I was intrigued by it. I went from this 50-year-old Dallas institution to dirt."

Legacy West, which opened in 2017, is a $3 billion multi-use development on 250 acres in West Plano along the Dallas North Tollway. It has attracted Toyota, FedEx Office, JPMorgan Chase, Liberty Mutual and others that built corporate offices there. Snee worked with new tenants and launched Legacy West's website, social media platforms and a podcast.

At Highland Park Village, Snee's mission, according to a statement from the shopping center, will be to "enhance and elevate the customer experience and brand awareness locally, nationally and internationally."
