Simple Steps, Uncommon Results

Kaizen” is a Japanese word for continuous improvement made through small steps.

The word “Muse” in this context represents the ten creative principles personified as "Muses", derived from the books and writing of Jill Badonsky, representing the kind of self-talk, mindfulness, and intuition that serves creativity more than fear, ego, and high pressured goals.

Therefore, Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching is using mindfulness, intuition, and creative self-talk to make continuous improvement through small steps in any creative endeavor including the creative process of being alive and living deeply.

Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching tools are memorable, unprecedented, and can apply not only to creative pursuit such as art, music, and writing, but to any aspect of life where a creative approach can make a profound difference in reaching an objective.

This creativity coaching model takes into account the dynamics of how humans approach the creative process:  Our tendency to forget what works, doubt ourselves, fail to finish projects, compare ourselves to others, and give-up when it's not perfect. KMCC fosters “awareness” as a powerful tool in and of itself, and a non-linear, unique approach that helps individuals use existing strengths in combination with intuition, acceptance, in-session experiences, packaged creativity "tools" and upgraded common sense.

KMCC works particularly well with people:
  • in resistance or rebellion
  • who doubt they are creative
  • with immobilizing perfectionism and chronic procrastination
  • experiencing feelings of overwhelm, lack of focus, or fear
  • having difficulty starting or restarting
  • who have many ideas and don't know which one to begin
  • needing support and structure in a non-threatening, low pressure way
  • who understand that creativity has no ceiling and want to go deeper
  • who are interested in connection of mindfulness, intuition, and creativity
  • who love the creative process and wants to explore more
Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching™ (KMCC) is a trademarked model of creativity coaching designed by Jill Badonsky, M.Ed. More »

"Jill Badonsky’s KMCC training course provides a fresh look at how to work with people momentarily seized by perfectionism, overwhelm, and/or procrastination Kaizen Muse Coaching methodology is brilliantly counter-intuitive and staggeringly effective... I’m humbled after nearly 2 years of active coaching to discover how to pinch both sides of the client’s brain and watch the exponential results. The approach is fresh, irreverent, funny, fun and very, very effective. I love it." — Shirley Anderson, MS, MCC, IAC-CC

"Celebration time—and you are the best teacher—so patience, kind and so experienced to lead and guide—this class is simply put—if that is possible—amazing, eye opening and life changing. Wow." — Michele Batz, Certified Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach

"Thank you, again, for opening this door for me. Not just for the business, but as a whole way of being, and doing, and expanding into the world. Last year this time I felt like I was being gradually choked to death by a constricting, ever decreasing reality. I’d begun to fear that my life would just keep getting smaller and smaller, but now the world is expanding all over again. I’m encountering new ideas and meeting new people and it’s a wonderful thing." — Kerry Schafer, Mystery/Fantasy Author, Certified Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach
