Rilke Schule Inc. (RSI)

RSI is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports Rilke Schule German School of Arts and Sciences (Rilke). Rilke  is a Kindergarten through 8th grade, public charter school within the Anchorage School District. It is Alaska’s only German immersion program.

RSI’s Board of Directors is comprised of parents or direct relatives of students attending Rilke Schule, as well as community members. As a tax-exempt nonprofit, we accept tax-deductible donations. All proceeds and donations are used to support Rilke and its before- and after-school programs.

RSI aims to support the school by partnering with the Rilke Schule Academic Policy Committee (APC) and Rilke Schule Verein (RSV) to ensure the long-term sustainability of Rilke Schule. We are the only organization affiliated with Rilke Schule that can hold long-term funds for the school’s future needs. We are always looking for additional parent volunteers to help with the numerous tasks it undertakes throughout the year. As a volunteer board, additional assistance is always appreciated.

Rilke Clubs: Before and After School Care

Our main focus is operating Rilke Clubs, an affordable before and after school program of extracurricular activities. Clubs are available on a semester basis from 7:00 – 7:45 am and after school until 5:30 pm. More information is available at Rilke Clubs.
