A brush fire burned about 6 acres in Fawn on Monday afternoon.

Fawn No. 1 deputy fire Chief Dave Collings said the fire was reported around 4:15 p.m. at the end of Jones Hollow Road, which runs off of Bull Creek Road.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, Collings said. No buildings were damaged, and no injuries were reported.

Collings said firefighters from six departments responded. They had the fire contained in about two hours.

Firefighters had to contend with difficult terrain and limited access, Collings said.
