Family Input Form for the 2024-2025 School Year Class Assignments

  • As we begin the process of looking ahead to creating well balanced classes for the 2024-2025 school year, we would like to streamline input provided by families through this form. Please know that we are not able to take specific teacher requests. 

  • As we work through this process, we keep our Lakewood Vision at the forefront: We are a community of leaders, valued individuals and problem solvers, who advocate for all. Note this will be viewed and analyzed by the current Lakewood Staff . We ask that you refrain from any disparaging comments and remain focused on your student's needs.

  • This form will close at noon on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Lakewood Celebrates African Americans and the Arts

We are excited to celebrate the rich history, stories, and achievements of African Americans throughout our nation, state, county, district, and campus during Black History Month. Visit the website daily to see how we celebrate this year’s theme, “African Americans and the Arts." There are some great virtual read aloud to check out with your families this month, as well as other great resources! You can also follow #DallasISDBlackHistory on social media.

26th Annual Long Run on April 4th

The Long Run is the JL Long PTA's annual (and only!) fundraiser.  Proceeds are used to help support Long students, teachers, and organizations by bridging critical gaps in the JL Long Middle School budget.  Click here to find more information and to register by March 22.  https://jllongpta.membershiptoolkit.com/longrun
