ABOUT US
Since 1995, the institutions in charge of the most prestigious Palace Museums in Europe have come together to form the Network of European Royal Residences, registered as an association since 2001.
The network enables its members to work together and share their knowledge and experience in the preservation and development of the rich cultural heritage in their care, to the benefit of the millions of visitors they receive each year.
Upcoming Cooperation Projects
Seminar: “Conservation, Climate change, and Energy efficiency”
4-5 April 2024
Organized in the frame of the EPICO program, the seminar “Conservation, Climate change, and Energy efficiency in Historic Houses” will be held at the Château de Chantilly and Palace of Versailles (upon personal invitation) and by videoconference.
These two days will be an opportunity to bring together professionals from palace-museums, scientists from research institutes in heritage sciences as well as representatives of governance bodies to debate these themes and present the orientations of national and European public policies .
The first day, which will take place at the Château de Chantilly, will be devoted to technical and scientific subjects and to an in-person exchange workshop. On the second day, at the Palace of Versailles, participants will discuss national and European orientations in terms of public policies, research and innovation.
