Bajillion Dollar Propertie$ trailer: Adam Scott, Nick Kroll, and Paul F. Tompkins get realty

Will the new semi-scripted comedy series Bajillion Dollar Propertie$ succeed in doing for realty shows like Million Dollar Listing what Reno 911! did for Cops?

You can find out on Feb. 21 when the streaming channel Seeso makes the first episode available to watch as part of its so-called “Day of Ha.” (Viewers will also have the opportunity to catch the entire first seasons of current Seeso series The UCB Show, Dave & Ethan’s Lovemakers, Before The Morning After, and Sammy J & Randy, without a subscription or credit card required.)

But the show’s new trailer — plus the involvement of Reno mainstays Tom Lennon and Ben Garant as executive producers, alongside Scott Aukerman (Comedy Bang! Bang!) and David Jargowsky (Funny or Die Presents) — points, encouragingly, in that direction.

Created by comedian and podcaster Kulap Vilaysack (Who Charted?), the show details the shenanigans of employees at a Los Angeles real estate firm owned by Paul F. Tompkins’ Dean Rosedragon. Tompkins’ costars include Dan Ahdoot, Tim Baltz, Ryan Gaul, Mandell Maughan, Tawny Newsome, and Drew Tarver. The show will also feature guest appearances by Adam Scott, Nick Kroll, Gillian Jacobs, Patton Oswalt, Jason Mantzoukas, and “Weird Al” Yankovic, among others.
