About

The project was final accepted on June 22, 2019 and marked as "completed" phase on the web on June 26, 2019.

D.A.B. Constructors, Inc., on behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation, is widening approximately 1.5 miles of State Road 52 (Schrader Highway) between CR 581 (Bellamy Brothers Boulevard) and Old Pasco Road from a two lane road to a four lane divided roadway with medians in Pasco County.

Other improvements include installing a new traffic signal at Old Pasco Road, replacing the traffic signal at Bellamy Brothers Boulevard, constructing a 12 foot multi-use path along the north side of the road and a 5 foot sidewalk on the south side.

As of March 24, 2019, eastbound and westbound SR 52 traffic is in its final alignment, separated by a median.
