Foundation Venture Capital Group uses impact investing to provide pre-seed and seed funding to health-related start-up companies at Affiliated Organizations to help them advance toward and through commercialization.  Our investments are made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social impact with any gains realized from the investments reinvested into furthering research and innovation at our Affiliated Organizations.

Foundation Venture Capital Group provides impactful nonmonetary support to the start-up company in addition to its initial investment. We provide assistance with various strategic, operational, and back-office management issues associated with developing and growing early-stage health related companies. Our support begins prior to the incorporation of the start-up company and extends through the life cycle of the company to the time potential funding from traditional venture capital companies may be possible.

Once the early-stage research we support proves viable, the Foundation Venture Capital Group team assists the researchers and their companies in finding other traditional venture capital companies to partner in the effort to advance the commercialization of the discoveries.
