Appeared in 64 games and made 51 starts, playing first base, second base, third base, shortstop and outfield … finished third nationally with 17 sacrifice bunts and 12th nationally with 0.27 per game …named to Southland Conference All-Defensive Team while finishing his season with a .993 fielding percentage and 244 putouts ... batted in the leadoff spot 15 of the last 16 games … finished 39 for 164 (.238) including four doubles, three triples, one homer and 22 RBIs … also added 36 runs and 21 walks while boasting a .349 on base percentage … matched a season best with three runs scored in the NCAA Tallahassee Super Regional opener vs. Florida State … set a new Sam Houston NCAA postseason record with six at bats against Texas Tech at the NCAA Lubbock Regional on June 4 … finished 2 for 4 with four RBIs on March 17 against A&M-Corpus Christi and added two RBIs on Feb. 19 to help Kats clinch series vs. Nevada … in back-to-back starts vs. Houston and McNeese, combined to go 4 for 9 with four runs and as many RBIs alongside a triple and home run … finished with seven multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games.
