Made 22 appearances including 13 starts, posting a 7-3 record and 4.54 ERA … finished eighth nationally in walks allowed per nine innings (1.01) and 10th in strikeout-to-walk ratio (7.00) … held opponents to a .276 average in 71 1-3 innings … took down nationally-ranked Texas A&M for a second-straight year, holding the Aggies to two runs in 6 2-3 innings while fanning six … picked up first victory of season against Texas State, holding Bobcats to two earned runs while striking out six in 5 2-3 innings on Feb. 28 … earned start in Southland Conference Tournament championship game, limiting Central Arkansas to three hits and two runs while fanning five across 5 2-3 innings … led Kats to 14-2 midweek win vs. UT Arlington, holding Mavericks to one run across six innings … did not allow a run in four-straight relief appearances between May 2-12.
2016 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE)
Made 13 appearances including five starts as a right-handed pitcher … moved into starting rotation on May 4, holding Texas Southern to three hits and no runs in five innings … shut out No. 2 Texas A&M in 6 2-3 innings on May 17, scattering six hits while helping the Kats to their first victory against a top-two ranked opponent in 20 years … struck out season-high five hitters in three innings at Texas Tech on April 13 … tossed 6 1-3 innings relief at Houston, limiting the Cougars to four hits and one run while striking out a pair … in Southland Tournament, tossed five frames, allowing only one run against Stephen F. Austin … limited hitters to a .240 batting average while posting a 3.60 ERA in 40 innings.
