Played in 50 games, starting seven in the outfield … used primarily as a pinch runner and defensive replacement … finished with nine hits and a dozen runs scored … seven of nine hits on the year were bunt singles … either hit successfully or executed a sacrifice on 12 of 17 bunt attempts for the season … had a pair of bunt singles in Shriner’s Classic meeting with Kentucky (3/3) at Minute Maid Park … had a hit and scored a run in early-season win over Kent State (2/17) … pinch ran in ninth inning and scored game-winning run in comeback win over Stephen F. Austin (4/13) … had a hit, RBI and run scored in win over Cincinnati (2/24) … went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBI in win at UIW (5/18).
2017 SEASON
Made 54 appearances and 14 starts as outfielder for Sam Houston … posted team-leading 40 appearances as a sub … went 11 for 47 (.234) with seven RBIs and 11 total bases … swiped eight bases in 10 tries … received first start on Feb. 26 vs. No. 13 Louisiana, finishing 2 for 3 with two runs, one RBI and a stolen base … in three games at Abilene Christian, went 3 for 9 with five runs, five stolen bases and two RBIs … appeared in all four games at the Southland Conference Tournament, scoring one run a piece against Southeastern Louisiana and New Orleans.
2016 SEASON
Entered the game a team-leading 33 times as a sub including, appearing 47 times total including 10 starts in left field and four in right field … went 2 for 4 at Lamar on May 14 with one run … on the series against the Cardinals, finished 4 for 11 (.364) with three runs and four total bases … scored one run in NCAA Lafayette Regional against Arizona … collected hits in three straight games against Houston, Texas Southern and A&M-Corpus Christi … stole five bases on the season … logged RBI against Incarnate Word on April 15 while also swiping two bases.

Member of head coach Barry Smith's Klein program … helped team claim 2015 district championship … first-team all-district in football three straight seasons including most valuable player in 2014 … majoring in construction management at Sam Houston.
