Honorable mention all-SLC … SLC all-academic second team … one of the Kats’ most reliable arms, going 6-1 with a 3.00 ERA … ERA mark ranked sixth in SLC … made 11 appearances, including 11 starts … went at least 5.0 innings in 10 of 11 starts … struck out seven hitters in 6.0 innings on Opening Night, taking a no-decision against Kent State (2/16) … took another no decision a week later despite striking out six hitters and allowing just two hits in 6.1 scoreless innings vs Cincinnati (2/23) … earned first win with 5.0 shutout innings vs ACU (3/29) … picked up another win at Nicholls, tossing 6.0 innings with six strikeouts in picking up for Hayden Wesneski in a game suspended due to weather (4/7) … won consecutive starts against Stephen F. Made 14 starts and 18 total appearances, racking up a 6-3 record and 4.03 ERA including a 4-2 mark and 3.51 ERA in Southland Conference games … named Second-Team Academic All-Southland … picked up first victory as a Bearkat on March 18, limiting A&M-Corpus Christi to two hits and one run across five innings … recorded four-straight victories between March 18 and April 8 … fanned season-high eight hitters in 5 1-3 innings against Nicholls … did not allow a run in five relief innings on May 19 vs. Incarnate Word … received start in Southland Conference Tournament vs. New Orleans, allowing just one hit in four frames … tossed two scoreless innings vs. Texas Tech in the NCAA Lubbock Regional on June 5, dropping his ERA to 3.96 – his lowest since Feb. 18 … kept Abilene Christian in check across a season-high 7 2-3 innings while limiting the Wildcats to three hits and two runs on April 1 ... majoring in finance at Sam Houston.
