Submit an Anonymous Tip (tip411)
You can submit an anonymous tip to the Hermiston Police Department by either text message, the Hermiston PD tip411 app, or using a web form. Tips can include photos and video. HPD reviews all submitted tips. We may respond through the system to request more information. Tips are entirely anonymous, and your contact information is not transmitted to HPD.
NOTE: This program is NOT a substitute for calling 911. If you have an emergency call 911.
There are three ways to submit an anonymous tip:
- Send a Text Message
- Open a text message and enter 847411 in the "To" field. In the body of the text, enter HPDTIP, type a space, add your tip message and hit send.

- Download the free Hermiston PD app in either the App Store or Google Play Store.
