The image below represents a panoramic 360+ degree picture of the site where I am going to build my retirement home and observatory.  The series starts off looking due West at Gibbs Peak which is about 13,864 feet high.   I have taken the liberty to attach Cardinal heading at the bottom so you folks can see what my skies will be like.  As you can see I will have a somewhat of an impressive skyline...  Please enjoy and remember, this is what keeps me sane.  The photos were taken with my Canon 7d on a tripod (amazing what leveling an do for you) and then brought together with the software magik of Hugin.
