Hi there! Welcome to my stop on today’s blog hop showcasing the new Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection from Altenew! You can start the hop over on Altenew’s blog if you landed here at random! The full hop list, giveaway details, and the next stop can be found at the end of the post.

The new collection features patterned paper and ephemera just perfect creating quick and easy cards. I’ve stepped up both of mine today using dies from my collection as well as alcohol markers!

On both my cards I used a panel of the 6 x 6 patterned paper and die cut it using a debossing cover die. For my first, I used the paler pink paper, die cut with the Debossing Swirls cover die. The patterned paper is beautifully thick, just like the other prior releases, this one is different though in that it is matte, not shiny like prior paper packs.

I pulled out both of the ephemera packs and found some fun black and white outline florals. I decided to color them in with. my alcohol markers and a gold gel pen, to make make them a little more unique.

I added the florals with foam squares and also scattered a few of the other smaller ephemera blooms around, trimming off the excess and then mounted onto a white notecard with fun foam. The sentiments are also from the ephemera packs, and to add a little to the ‘Love’ I coated it with Glossy Accents! A few pink and gold sequins added sparkle!

For my second card, I debossed a panel of pale aqua paper from the 6×6 pack using the Dotted Starburst Debossing Cover die. I also used another panel of fun floral paper, and used the lower case Bold Alpha Dies to die cut ‘D A Y’. I also die cut it them from pale pink craft foam and adhered them together.

I adhered the ‘D A Y’ to the aqua panel, and overlaid the ‘Awesome’ die cut from the ephemera pack with a foam strip across the top. I also added some die cut wildflowers top. and bottom and scattered some coordinating sequins to finish. Once again I matted the panel with fun foam onto a white notecard to finish!
