For my image, I kept things really simple, but changed it up a little by creating a square card – I thought the main image worked perfectly for those dimensions. I stamped the floral bunch in Vanilla Cream ink onto hot press watercolor cardstock first – this gives a softer outline but one that is still easy to see to color in.
To color I used a water brush and the Altenew Essential 12 Pan Set. This is new to me and one I really wanted in my stash for all those basic colors, but also colors perfect for mixing! I was able to get several shades of yellow and orange to paint my image. And of course, couldn’t resist adding a few splatters!
I stamped the sentiment over the top in Obsidian Black ink, trimmed down and mounted. with foam tape to a square notecard (4.5 x 4.5).
