How frequent are the sessions and how long?

Once a week for 45 mins and then review materials are sent home for the time between.

Are these sessions free?

No. I spend a lot of time to review, individualize and provide your child his/her need on a personal level. However, I have the lowest fee possible.

Do you help with IEP?

Yes, I have personal experience through my kids Individualized Education Programs in the past, and have assisted many of my students.

About KC Tutoring

KC Tutoring works with children in the age groups from 4 to 15 years of age with various types of learning disabilities. Kelli Cole started her business after raising a son with learning challenges. She would have to drive around 4 hours a week to get dyslexia tutoring.

Along with her business venture as a sole proprietorship, she is also a vendor for Epic Charter Schooling.

Why Choose KC Tutuoring

Kelli Cole

Founder Kelli Cole started Knowledge Charged Tutoring (KC Tutoring) in 2017 with less than ten students and now has forty-four students in the year 2019. Cole is certified in the Orton Gillingham Dyslexia and Barton Dyslexia method.

  • The Orton-Gillingham Approach is a “direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive way to teach literacy when reading, writing, and spelling does not come easily to individuals, such as those with dyslexia” (Orton-Gillingham, 2019).
  • The Barton Reading Program is a “teaching method created for students with dyslexia. It’s one of several reading programs that are based on the highly structured Orton–Gillingham approach. But it’s aimed at a somewhat different audience. Barton was designed to be used by people without educational training” (Rosen, 2019).

Kelli Cole has helped my daughter learn so much. I was truly at the end of my rope because I had tried 3 different curriculums with my daughter and could not get her to be confident in reading basic things.
