The meeting is an excellent venue to celebrate scientific excellence in Louisiana and to foster discussion among peer groups of scientists. The LAS especially encourages presentations from both undergraduate and graduate students as the Annual Meeting is a supportive environment in which students will have an opportunity to hone their presentation skills, make connections with other scientists in their field, and become informed about study and research opportunities within the State.
At the Annual Meeting, the Academy also hosts a competition for the best student presentations. Click here for the Student Competition instructions.
Please consider attending and presenting among our diverse and united group of scholars at our one-day conference.
