About Us

The Kingston Centre of the Royal Canadian College of Organists serves church musicians, organists, and pipe organ enthusiasts located in southeastern Ontario, including Kingston, Trenton, Picton, Wellington, Belleville, Gananoque, Brockville, Prescott, Perth, and areas in between.

The Kingston Centre is one of the College’s twenty-eight Centres which may be found across Canada.  A list of the Centres is available on the national website under Centres and Regions.  Our Centre hosted the annual RCCO convention and organ festival in 1986 and 2016.  Images of organs in our Centre’s area are presented on the Gallery page.

Our Centre’s Values:  Community, Education, Inspiration

When we think about why we are drawn to be members of the RCCO’s Kingston Centre, three values come to mind:  Community, Education, and Inspiration.  These three qualities represent us and guide our conversations with prospective members.  Please visit our Membership page for a full discussion of these values.  We hope you will join us!

About Our Website

This website, rcco-kingston.ca, incorporates much of the content of our Centre’s previous website, rcco-kingston.org, which was designed and written by Executive member Charles Walker and maintained by him for over fifteen years.  The current website was edited and written by Executive member Jennifer Roche-Brown.  The Centre’s former President and former Chair Michael Capon contributed some writing and ideas for this page and the Membership page.
