WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The UNCW men's tennis team has a motto: anybody, anytime, anywhere.

That creed will be tested when the Seahawks face 17th-ranked Tennessee on Saturday at the NCAA tournament in Chapel Hill.

"Our guys are competitive. They are fiery. They are going to come at you," said UNCW head coach Mait DuBois. "We aren't going to win every match, but we are going to compete in every match.  I think the teams that play us know that. It's not your dream first round for Tennessee by any means."

"We know that any one of us can beat anyone in the country," said Seahawk junior Agustin Savarino. "We know if we take care of business, and give our 100 percent, the outcome is going to be a positive one."

The Seahawks are hoping to use past NCAA tournament experience. Last year, the team faced top-seeded Wake Forest.

"We have more confidence for sure," said Seahawk senior Andres Torres. "We had to play against the No. 1 team last year. We were a little nervous for sure, (but) the guys are less nervous (this year). We know how it is."

UNCW players say they aren't focused on the opponent's national ranking, but rather on what they need to do to come away with a win.

"We are just trying to be really good at what we do," said DuBois. "Tennessee has a great team, and we know if we do our things, we will have our opportunities, but it's just really when those opportunities present themselves."
