Everyone is invited to partake in this free, THREE PART SERIES, each series featuring two, 30-minute talks and light snacks. We’re excited to learn and develop our best selves with you through the scope of research- and wisdom-based education, learning how our best selves impact community.

PART TWO | Thursday, October 18 from 7 - 8 p.m.

Session 1: The Time Value of Money

Brian Petrus, business administration faculty

What does financial freedom mean to you?  The ability to retire early, to travel the world, or to help others in need?  Whatever your definition is, understanding financial literacy can help you achieve your goals.

Session 2: Running the Race and Recognizing the Journey

Todd Cole, lecturer of education

Todd Cole, a recently retired elementary school teacher of 34 years, is an adjunct instructor for the Education Department on the 3rd Floor of Old Main.  Todd's message will reach all ages as he speaks of Running the Race not just for the Prize, but for the JOURNEY itself.  Todd will share his auto biography children's book about his walk to become a teacher and then his journey through all what LIFE brought along the way as a teacher.  Sometimes life's most important lessons do not honor us with a trophy, but they help us form our lives to be more purposeful and meaningful.  Come hear his message for all ages.

Those who join all three talks will receive a certificate of completion!
