$5 take away burrito was delicious. Good size, not small, but not massive either. Bout the size of a large taco Bell burrito, but nowhere near chipotle size
Fluffy eggs, couldn't really make out the red/gree chili sauce, but the inside was gooey and delicious. Carne adovada was good, but not my cup of tea as it was a little chunkier than how I like any protein in my burritos.
Nice guy working the front. Inside was empty and welcoming, almost wish I stayed, but then I couldn't get the $5 special.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa A.Buffalo, NY3968115Nov 2, 2023Updated review
it's apparent i wasn't specific enough since i'm receiving nasty responses about lemonade supposing to taste bitter. let me be clear.
both the w a t e r and the l e m o n a d e tasted like how a dirty toilet would smell. the after taste from our drinks tasted how halitosis smells.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 8, 2023Previous reviewFood 3/5 - Enchilada was underwhelming, boyfriend liked his chicken fajita. Drinks were GROSS. He had a water and I had a lemonade, they both tasted really bitter.
Service 5/5 - our waiter was very attentive & friendly.
Ambiance 4/5 - not bad, could be more lively though.
3/5 stars overall because the drinks otherwise would've given a 4. - Barbara Y.High Bridge, NJ051Apr 17, 2024

Excellent! Carne Adovada breakfast plate was amazing. Meat had some bite but just right. Potatoes were good. Eggs cooked perfectly. Beans were right. Tortilla was so so. Not too much flavor. Coffee food. Friendly. I enjoyed! Small breakfast menu but good.
The handheld burrito was amazing. Only a take out item. But well worth it and the tortilla is perfect with that.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - G B.Denton, TX11720Feb 23, 2024Updated review
Four years of annual visits and I swear Baca Boys is just getting better! Adore the Mami and Papi service and the food is plate-licking amazing!

1/10/23 - We arrived at 12:16 and didn't get our food yet...it's 1:03. They're so slow and we need to go. It looked good but don't come here on a time schedule or for lunch break unless you beat the rush I guess. We just got told they'll box and give us 1/2 off. We'll see. Food wise I cannot speak on it. Yet....I got it to go.
UPDATE - We loved the food and the green Chile was my favorite. I also feel the way the owner stayed calm while being confronted by an angry customer was phenomenal. I get they were short staffed, but still I couldn't ignore the lateness and I would've probably suggested to go drinks too as well as the much appreciated 50% off. I do appreciate a good combo plate. I liked the food just be sure you have time just in case. Unfortunately we're from out of town but hopefully you'll have better luck time wise and you'll enjoy the food.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Eric S.Fort Worth, TX0461Feb 25, 2024
You'd think a place that specializes in New Mexican food would not have other dishes to compliment. But stay with me...
Pancakes. I don't know what they do, it's not like they are made with red or green chili or anything, they are just pancakes. But just amazing pancakes.
Big fan of the breakfast burrito as well. The Chef, Daniel, knows his stuff and has taught his crew well.
This may be your new favorite place if you work near downtown.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 8, 2023
A new, small, family owned restaurant that might be worth the visit one day. Since they are a new restaurant you can tell that they have a few kinks to work through. One being atmosphere, and service. The service was slow and not very attentive. And the atmosphere is very plain since the room is pretty small. What was really good was the food. I got a Monte Cristo Sandwich, my BF got the Carne Adovada and Eggs and we shared a bowl of Green Chile Stew. It was good homemade NM food.

We found this place on Yelp and it was perfect for brunch. I had the monte cristo sandwich and it was so good. I am not normally one for sweet & salty combo, but it tasted great. The place is not huge and it filled up quick. Every table was taken and they had to turn people away so obviously the place is good. The prices are reasonable and the staff is nice. Overall, a great place for lunch.

We have never been here but found out it's been there since 2015. It was slightly hidden off Central and easy to miss if you drive by but worth checking it out. I ordered the carne adovada and eggs breakfast with papitas and red chile. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the red chile was tasty. Our server was friendly and attentive.
