Football: Eight unbeaten teams left in City Section

After five weeks of high school football, there’s eight unbeaten teams left in the City Section.

They include Banning (5-0), Franklin (5-0), Grant (5-0) Narbonne (4-0), Hawkins (4-0), Los Angeles (4-0), Fairfax (4-0) and Reseda (4-0).

Quarterback Markell White of Fairfax is off to a great start. He has passed for 413 and six touchdowns and run for 471 yards and nine touchdowns.

Banning running back Joel Villarreal has rushed for 662 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Grant quarterback Cameron Perry has passed for 867 yards and 13 touchdowns.
